Barry’s Bootcamp is arguably one of the best imports we have seen from the US in our fair city – if you’re a boot camp fan, you get beasted in style. No tricep pushups on a park bench for you, oh no! There’s the sound system that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a night club, the Malin & Goetze skin product range, and of course delicious food courtesy of Good Life Eatery.
Favoured for their HIIT classes, which apparently can burn an impressive 1000 calories in 60 minutes, Barry’s East, based between the City and Shoreditch is split across two levels, with a sizeable studio space, a brand of treadmill used by Navy Seals (!) and customised weights, medicine balls and resistance bands.
Once you’re sufficiently ruined, you can go and grab a protein shake at the Fuel Bar upstairs, where there’s also relaxed chill-out area for pre and post workout socialising. You might even swing by the Fuel Bar on your way to a yoga class elsewhere! Then of course there’s ‘merch’. If you fancy showing off to your pals how hardcore/a masochist/keen to get those abs you are then the lovely Barry’s Bootcamp fitness range is there for your delectation.
So it’s open now and it’s ready for you, on Worship Street. The question is… are YOU ready for it? 😉
